The powerhouse of electric scooters — lightweight, high-energy-density rechargeable cells.

01

Safety

  • Never leave the battery connected to the charger for extended periods — overcharging can cause damage or safety hazards.
  • Protect from temperature extremes; lithium performs best at moderate temperatures.
  • Avoid puncturing, crushing or dropping the pack — physical damage can cause leaks or fires.
  • Always use the charger provided by the manufacturer. Third-party chargers are the most common cause of battery damage.
02

Charging

  • Monitor charging and disconnect once full to prevent overcharging.
  • Charge indoors in a dry, well-ventilated area.
  • Never charge with a wet port, and keep the charger away from rain or moisture.
03

Storage & maintenance

  • Storing long-term? Leave the pack at around 50% charge, in a cool, dry place.
  • Check the battery periodically during extended storage.
  • Inspect and clean the terminals regularly with a soft, dry cloth to prevent corrosion.
04

Extending life

  • Avoid complete discharge cycles — top up whenever convenient.
  • Use regenerative braking where available; it converts kinetic energy back into charge.
  • Keep the pack between 20–80% for day-to-day use.
